Circ is an independent magazine that investigates the backbone of fashion, art, design, and culture. For each issue, we invite people to write thoughts, essays, stories, or any text format our contributors want to share on a topic that is determined by the Circ team. Every topic comes in the form of a question that we ask in reaction to the previous contributions, therefore mimicking the natural cycle of a dialogue. This slower dynamic of the public discourse is an important element that should be preserved and accommodated during the hasty interactions of the internet and social media. Circ magazine thus attempts to reinvent the concept of a forum through printed matter while offering a new inclusive space for self-expression. Circ is concerned with the importance of circulating, distributing, publishing, sharing, and non-hierarchal conversations through the assembly of collected text and reactionary visual communication.
